I have had this exact stomp pad on my board for at least 10 years now. Compared to a clear plastic one I had for a few years before (on my child size board), this high density foam material grips better in cold conditions (the clear plastic hardens up and doesn't hold as well as it does when its room temperature). Now that I've been riding for a long time, I hardly need a stomp pad for anything really, but when I was a newbie it was important to me to have grip. It also lasted 10 years without a single blemish or any part coming unstuck. I just got a new board and will probably get this again because it is large enough to cut what you want out of it. I plan to cut it to a pattern that blends with the dark parts of the graphic on my board.
Bottom line - highly recommended pad.

Ordered two for my friend and for me. One of the stomp pad came with little damage, but nothing critical. Sticky surface is a reliable, due to the small thickness the stomp pad will not interfere with snowboarding. Ring leash is pretty good because of fastex.
