For the money, I'm very happy with them, for Rock Band and CD music. Depending on the amount of bass in your song and system, you have to adjust the "threshold" setting to maximize the effect. I had a couple bad experiences with Rock Gear, both before my purchase, with their customer service, and after purchase, with the delivered product -but the very day I posted my bad experience on Amazing-dot-com, I was contacted by Rock Gear, who made things right by sending me replacement parts and bonus parts. My bad experience before purchase: - I used their online chat, and the person knew nothing about the product beyond what was in plain view on their website. - I left the owner a voice mail asking a question before purchasing, and I never got a reply. Adding the hexolight 3000 in with our surround sound and big screen, the show was much more immersive. I was quite pleasantly surprised, and the kids feel like rock stars.
