If my 357 magnum S&W 649 is just loosely placed in the holster, it will come out nicely. If, however it is placed in all the way until it 'clicks' in, then it is a bear to get out. More likely to pull entire rig off your pants than it is to withdraw. I know there is supposed to be a 'trick' to it, but after an hour, I think it is just a poor design.
