Omega Pacific D Screw-Lok, Black Reviews

It's stood up to the harshest of conditions without any sign of coming undone or worse. This is my second time buying these because another brand I purchased is beginning to show signs of wear, and I don't want to take a chance on something like that when it's a life situation.I highly recomend these for any cllimbing application, as well as any time you may need to lock something down with a caribiner (i.e. on my flack to hold my gear). 3 of 4 people found the following review helpful: Tough, Lightweight carry option, By This review is from: Omega Pacific D Screw-Lok, Black (Sports) I have owned this carabiner for over six months now and have used it daily. The Good: High loading capacity, subdued finish, solid lock up, carry specs written on the actual device, fairly light, vast utility. The Bad: finish has started to deteriorate primarily around the screw-lok. I use this carabiner every day as a key ring and on occasion for holding equipment to my pack when backpacking. Its functionality has not decayed at all and it is built far beyond the requirements for my daily tasks. I would recommend it to a friend. 2 of 3 people found the following review helpful: Perfect for use with my treestand harness, By This review is from: Omega Pacific D Screw-Lok, Black (Sports) I have a Summit Viper climbing treestand and while I felt safe with the heavy and slow (40 half-turns to fully lock) stainless steel locking carabiner, when I found this Omega Pacific aluminum equivalent, which requires only a half dozen half-turns, I not only got one for myself, I bought several and gave them as Christmas gifts to my hunting buddies. |
