I have been searching for a SOFT AND LIGHTWEIGHT sheet set! I live in the tropics and have ordered a couple of different sheet sets of sateen egyptian cotton, while they have been soft, they have been TOO THICK and dense to allow air flow. Someone suggested I should try PERCALE and they were right, this sheet set is as soft as sateen but gossamer fine! There was a little printed sticker on the back of package that list these as Gramercy Park Banded percale, but the package label on the front didn't say anything about percale and they were a differant brand as well as NOT being banded with a black band. They had three ropes stitched into the egdes. They don't look like the picture.
