I have yorkies that had red mange. I went the vet route, of perscriptions, creams, ivermectin shots, advantix multi, chlorax dips, borax & peroxide, and they still had it. I was afraid of the oil treatment. I was at my last resort and decided to try this product, and it works. I don't know why vets don't know about it and recommend it! My older dog who has it had for over a year, healed up in one week, no more red patches. I see new growth of hair already. I even used it safely on my puppies. On a 2nd dog I didn't shave her, and it didn't go away. My recommendation is to shave the dog, and use the treatment. I applied over the dog completely, waited 3 days and shampooed the dog with a good shampoo to clean out all the hair follicles, let dry and replied the Nu-STOCK. Buy 2 tubes so you'll have enough. I didn't care about the smell, as long as it worked!!!I'd gladly submit photos if there was a way. Nu-Stock is great for treating most any kind of wound on livestock and dogs. I used this product everyday for well over a month, on a dog that was bitten by a venomous snake. Even with vet care, our vet said a baseball-sized area would rot away, due to tissue damage. The vet said nothing could be done to prevent it. After cleansing the wound daily, we would apply the Nu-Stock paste and go on our merry way. The wound healed much faster than the vet anticipated and my dog suffered only minor skin/tissue loss, the size of a quarter! It could have been much worse, but luckily the Nu-Stock, not only saved my dog from severe tissue damage, but it also promoted hair re-growth as well. I like the fact that it is in a paste form, as it is much more convenient than just a liquid spray. Nu-Stock stays on better and longer. Also, my dogs do not seem to like the taste, thus they do not try and lick it off, like they do other products. Even the flies... We picked up a stray a couple of weeks ago who had almost no hair, but red patches of skin everywhere, full of ticks and fleas. She got the full vet treatment, regular baths against the parasites and we rubbed the nu-stock on the patches. I was really impressed how the stuff works. The smell is bad, but it was great to see new hair growing on the poor pup. She has a few spots on her feet still, but over all I am very pleased with the results. Also works great for ear mites on another dog. |
