Tentative 3-star review. I purchased this speed rope in July, and I have been using 1-3 times per week on a pretty regular basis. The rope is plenty long for me; I am 6'7". Forwards, backwards, it doesn't matter--plenty long. I bought this speed rope to work on and improve my double-unders. In the last week or so I've really found my rhythm and started hitting the 2X-under with some consistency. Last night, during a set of 2X-unders, the rope snapped at the handle. This may be an anomaly, and I have contacted AccuFitness (the vendor). I am hoping they will either replace the rope or reimburse me, since if I can't do speed jumping, what's the use of this speed rope? I'll modify this review as necessary based on what happens with the vendor and a resolution. When it was working, it was excellent, and I am thinking of buying another in the meantime, since if AccuFitness replaces broken rope, I can have one just for travel and one for home... Has best of both worlds, speed and weight. The bearings are ultra smooth and the rope keeps it shape due to the thicker sides and being narrow at the bottom. This rope has been sold out from every retailer that carries it in the U.S. for almost the whole summer and now I know why.
