These Pyle Hydra speakers have power – 260 watts! The two-way, 6” x 9” speakers are constructed from a high quality water resistant design, making these perfect for your boat or in an outdoor setting. The 40 oz. magnet structure supports a 1.5” high temperature voice coil for full sounding lows and mids, while the ½” neodymium dome tweeter accurately reproduces sweet highs. These speakers achieve a frequency response of 55 Hz to 20 kHz.

A built-in molded grille adds another layer of protection against the elements.

Woofer Construction

The speakers are constructed with high-quality poly carbon cones and rubber surround, boasting 260 watts peak power. Poly cones have the added benefit of weather resistance, ideal for the marine environment.

A molded ABS plastic basket helps keep things distortion-free, and a 1.5-inch high-temperature voice coil delivers accurate sound reproduction.

Built-In Grille

A built-in molded grille adds another layer of protection against the elements (not to mention the inevitable bumps and scratches from in-boat enjoyment).

1/2-Inch Tweeter

A 1/2-inch Neodymium dome tweeter takes up the high-end, helping to ensure full-range sound with minimal distortion.

Powered with just a radio and no amp, they are plenty loud enough to rock my pontoon boat. Paired them with a set of Pyle 6 1/2" speakers and they jam. Look great too !!! They also produce a great amount of Bass without having a sub attached. Only problem is that I'm getting sound only from one! These package comes with two 6x9 speakers. But one of my speaker came busted. The Magnetic coil wasn't fully built correctly so it was lose and rattled around in the plastic shell. So I've sent it back and now I'm waiting for Pyle to send me new ones. BUT....The one speaker that did work sounded awesome! I'm sure with both speakers working, it'll sound amazing!
