I tune the 6 th string to G and have found that satisfactory for the music I like. The high, almost mandolin sound I get from it compares to what a baby grand piano sound like next to a full sized one. The bridge on the body is very well reenforced and is shaped in a moustache configuration giving it a well made, appealing look.
