The Yamaha SLG110N Silent Acoustic-Electric Guitar lets you practice with headphones, yet enjoy the realistic sounds of an acoustic instrument. The nylon-stringed Yamaha silent guitar features a lightweight composite body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and breaks down quickly to fit into included gig bag for easy transport. Electronics include piezo in-bridge pickups and an internal DSP that reproduces the natural-sounding reverb of a user-selected acoustic space. The silent acoustic-electric guitar has mini-stereo inputs for plugging in a CD player for play-along. The Yamaha acoustic-electric guitar interfaces with the AG Stomp. Includes gig bag.

I was running late for my return flight back home and when I returned the rent car to the Newark airport, I was in such a hurry I left my silent guitar in the back window of the car. I realized that I'd forgotten it a few minutes later but had already boarded the train for the terminal. I immediately went back to the car rental building but the customer service at the rental counter was so terrible that, although I notified one of their employees of my plight, by the time they decided to get around to "helping" me the car and guitar were in transit to another location. Dejected, I continued my flight home. Over the next two weeks, the car rental company was of no assistance... Although they notified me they'd found my guitar, neither the Newark branch lost and found nor the branch manager would return my desperate calls. My wife suggested that I accept the fate of the first Yamaha Silent Guitar and just order a new one.
