This guitar sounds pretty good unplugged. The neck is narrower than a lot of the others I was trying out, which is a huge plus for me. I haven't done much recording with it yet, but I was able to get a great sound out of it with what little I did.
The only thing I'm not fond of is the built in tuner. It just seems kind of flaky.

I bought this for my son's twelfth birthday. He wanted blue. Try to find a 'good' blue acoustic at a near by music store. I was very nervous about buying a guitar online, but dang, this thing is sweet. Great first guitar. Solid neck, looks great, built in tuner, very impressed.
Watch out Beiber. lol
