It smells wonderful but is not overpowering and has a great consistency. Will definitely purchase again in bulk from Amazon and am even considering buying it as gifts for friends. You won't see the same degree of lather that you see in other brands, but it is working. Gentle enough to use multiple times a day. Kids actually like the smell - it is pleasant and not too strong. If you don't like lavender products, you won't like this, but there are other scents available. Naturally antiseptic and gentle.
