The smaller FXC body style is very close to what I have been learning on. The biggest drawback was $350+ was a bit more than I wanted to spend. I played a couple of other Jasmine guitars at a local shop after I ordered it and they sounded bad, so I got worried that I had made a mistake. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of this guitar!!! However, I was disappointed by the quality of the frets! They are so sharp that they literally cut my fingers just by rubbing my hand down the neck. My buddy is a professional musician so I asked him to check it out and he cut his fingers just by playing it. The company definitely could have used some quality control... I am having a luthier fix it and hopefully it wont cost me as much as an upgraded guitar would when he's done. Over all I am very pleased and am just bummed out that I can't play it for a couple more days. |
