I am now 42. I have tried everything out there for my acne, even Acutane. While my skin has improved over the years it has never been clear. Until a nurse at a plastic surgeon's office explained to me the difference between over the counter benzoyl peroxide and Obagi's benzoyl peroxide I had no idea. Apparently the drug store brands are made of particles too big to get into your pores. That is why it drys the skin and leaves a white residue on your face afterward. Obagi's therapeutic lotion is made out of solubilized particles so they are smaller then your pores and can get to the source of the problem. What a concept a product that works!!! For the first time in 30 years my skin is completely clear. The only other thing I changed was that I wash my face with a 4x4 gauze pad and very gentle soap (the scrubs actually make small cuts for bacteria to enter I was told). I dry my face with a clean paper towel each time as well. That's it... This is the key product in the kit though. Within a few weeks, my skin was CLEAR!!!!! not better...but CLEAR! which for me, was simply amazing. for the first time in years i was actually not embarrassed to leave the house without foundation.
