This review is from: Stack-On GSXW-836-DS Waterproof Fire Resistant Elite Gun Safe (Tools & Home Improvement) This is a very nice safe with plenty of features to configure any way you want. I do believe that STACK-ON did get cheap with the interior area. The felt carpet was just glued down quickly and everything was covered in dust from the fire proofing sheet rock(Gypsum) board. Overall I sleep and work better knowing that no one's kids or my kids can get into this. I had quite a time moving this around, but did so with just three guys and a refer-dolly rented from Home Depot. The shipping from Amazon and price COULD NOT BE BEATEN BY ANYONE,.....trust me I tried to get this cheaper elsewhere.........NOBODY CAME CLOSE !!!!! The item came brand new and no damage.....absolutely wonderful job. I give Amazon 5+++ STARS. This review is from: Stack-On GSXW-836-DS Waterproof Fire Resistant Elite Gun Safe (Tools & Home Improvement) make sure you have a place downstairs to put this safe. if you try putting it upstairs, somebody's gonna get hurt, and bad. Also, wear steel toe boots while moving this sucker around. use a pallet jack. moving up the steps are tricky but not impossible when it's empty. a trick that i do to gain easy access when opening the safe is to dial the first 2 numbers, but leave it undialed for the last number. after you open each time, just dial it back a bit before it descrambles, and you can just dial the last number when opening it the next time. hopefully, i explained that clearly. Actually, you can do this trick with any safe. i'm thinking about buying another one for my office since it is the best value- look at the dollar per cubic feet, and it's fireproof and water proof to a certain extent. it can store a lot of stuff. It's the size of a small short closet. with the shelves that come with it, you can store a lot of goodies. peace of mind.
