I got my first acoustic guitar over 40 years ago; I've looked at and played numerous makes/models...and this guitar is one of the best I've found in the "affordable"(ie, less than $400-$500) range.Why? For less than $300, one gets the following: - solid spruce top - mahogany back, sides, and neck - rosewood fingerboard & bridge - Grover-style sealed tuners - Buzz Feiten Tuning System (amazing...see his web site for more info) - nice bindings on the body & neck - D'Addario strings - a case (more on this) I am able to pluck harmonics at almost every fret...rare on any guitar, no matter the price. The Buzz Feiten Tuning System maintains pitch, most importantly, at the lower 3 frets. My guitar may have been a "blem" as it has several minor cosmetic issues...but nothing that I couldn't accept...it plays & sounds so well! With... My only qualms are with Amazon who shipped me the natural finish instead of the black finish. I have decided to keep the natural finish but I have contacted Amazon about their mistake.
